Die Tooling Manufacturing is the company that make dies for the automotive industry. Their expertise is in creating die tooling for frame, body parts and aluminium parts using tensile steel 590 - 1180 Mpa.



 

Technology

Simulation formability is used to simulate the forming, cracking, wrinkling and spring back of the work piece to improve the design for the next construction, and to reduce the time to create the dies.

Simulation Scrap Flow is the simulation of the scrap debris flow after cutting and to meet customers demands in terms of productivity. Simulation Scrap Flow is used in the tooling design for maximum efficiency in production, such as mold cutting where scrap must not become stuck and cause a barrier to production.

CNC 5 Face has the ability to work on the surface of the mold to improve the quality, which results in the creation of the dies without having to do spot dies. In addition, there is a function we call "Look ahead" to calculate the tool path to milling surface and prevent the risk of tool breakage.

Products

  

An insulator is a part that is designed to shield heat from the exhaust of the car into the passenger space. The surface of the insulator is designed to be uneven to prevent heat build up. The forming is quite complicated because the surface of the workpiece is buttoned and uneven, and the aluminum used has a thickness of only 0.4 - 0.5 mm.





The Thai Summit group participates in the design of some parts together with the customers to meet their needs and to speed up the design process. Rear bumper is one of these parts.

Testing Center

Photo Scan is a high-precision tool that has a variety of applications such as

  • Scan products to compare with CAD DATA.

  • Scan the mold after machining to check resolution in values of various sizes.

  • Scan the mold that has been completed to collect data as a database to assist with replacing dies and dies maintenance.

CNC Program Blum is used to check the point surface that we set after finishing the surface machining process and is then compared with CAD modeling to check the accuracy of the machining process.
